July 1st was a wonderful day in every way. Kristin Florio Alverson and I joined Jen Jones for the installation of my "on city and culture" exhibit at the Haskell Gallery, thanks to the Jacksonville International Airport Arts Commission. Afterwards, Kristin and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary with a trip to 29 South in Fernadina Beach. This is a top notch restaurant, and I believe I can speak for both of us that it was one of the best meals of our lives.
After this delicious dinner, Kristin showed patience with me and my photography, as she always does. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset down by the marina. I went off taking photos, and took this one of the boat and sunset reflection.
I entered it in a GuruShots contest called "Kodak Moments", and out of over 48,000 photographs, 400 are chosen for the exhibit.
This one was chosen, and will be displayed next month at the Usagi Art Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Feel free to hop on board a plane from JIA, head to New York City, and check it out :) I want to thank everyone who continuously support and encourage my passion for photography, especially my love Kristin :)
